Sightseeing in Ljubljana

Hey!

On thursday our CEEDer Monika came to visit me in Ljubljana. We met at the train station and then went to the MC office to leave her luggage.

We walked for 6 hours around Ljubljana. We started our tour on the dragon bridge...from there we walked through the main market to Prešeren square... then we walked through the old part of the center where we saw the town hall, to the castle of Ljubljana... we stayed there for quite some time...we also went to the outlook tower to see the view on Ljubljana... from the castle we went to the river Ljubljanica...we also visited Križanke and NUK library...our way continued to the Kongresni square where we saw the buildnig of University of Ljubljana...we went down to the river again to take some pictures...in the end we visited Frančiškanska church and the main catholic church of Ljubljana called Stolnica of St. Nikolaj...this was the end of our tour...we went back to the MC office to take the luggage and took the bus to my place...
